Care & Safety Instructions
Your safety is my priority!
I want you to fully enjoy my candles without any risks. Please follow these simple guidelines to ensure safe use and prolong the life of your candle.
BEFORE LIGHTING YOUR CANDLE
Before using your candle, make sure the wick is trimmed to about 5 mm (¼ inch). This helps prevent smoking, uneven burning, and excessive flame, while enhancing the scent throw in your space. It's best to use a proper wick trimmer for a clean cut.
Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable—books, curtains, paper, furniture, etc.
Keep the candle in a place where it cannot be accidentally knocked over by children or pets.
WHILE THE CANDLE IS BURNING
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not fall asleep with a candle burning — this can cause serious accidents.
- Limit each burn session to a maximum of 4 hours.
- Stop using the candle when there is less than 10 mm (about ½ inch) of wax left to avoid overheating the container.
- For optimal fragrance diffusion, keep windows closed during the first 30 minutes of the burn.
- If the flame is flickering, too tall, or smoking, extinguish the candle and trim the wick before relighting.
SPECIAL NOTE: DESSERT CANDLES
If you own dessert-style candles (realistic candles that resemble food or sweets), be extra cautious.
They are not edible!
Make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets, who may mistake them for real treats.
AFTER EXTINGUISHING
- Never use water to put out your candle. Use a snuffer or carefully place the lid to extinguish the flame.
- Always make sure the flame is completely out and the wick is no longer glowing before leaving the room.
- Let the candle cool completely before moving it.
- Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Wipe off any dust or debris before relighting to keep your candle clean and burning evenly.
By following these simple steps, you’ll ensure a safe and enjoyable candle experience — from the first burn to the last flicker.
